Program Highlights

This course is designed to provide a current state of the art, evidence-based approach to the diagnosis and management of obstructive salivary gland disorders. This course is a one-day hybrid conference with live morning lectures followed by a comprehensive afternoon lab with a focus on sialendoscopy techniques and salivary gland ultrasound.  Learners who are unable to the attend in-person may access the morning lectures virtually (lab and afternoon panel discussion not included).  The spectrum of salivary gland disorders that may be encountered in everyday clinical settings will be discussed. Evidence-based work-up and treatment recommendations are discussed. Sialendoscopy as a minimally invasive, gland-sparing procedure will be the focal point of management, but other medical and surgical gland sparing options will also be discussed. Evidenced-based discussion of outcomes and complications will be covered.
