In support of improving patient care, Harvard Medical School is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
Physicians
The Harvard Medical School designates this live activity for a maximum of 28.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Nurse Practitioners and Registered Nurses
For the purpose of recertification, the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board and American Nurses Credentialing Center accept AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ issued by organizations accredited by the ACCME (Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education). We would also suggest that learners check with their state licensing board to ensure they accept reciprocity with AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ for re-licensure.
Psychologists
McLean Hospital is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. McLean Hospital maintains responsibility for this program and its content. Participants meeting requirements will receive up to 15.50 CE credits for the Friday and Saturday conferences and 12.50 CE credits for the optional Wednesday and Thursday pre-conference workshops.
Social Workers
This program, Stronger Together: Dissociative Identity Disorder Past, Present, and Future on September 20-21, 2024 has been approved for 15.5 Continuing Education hours for relicensure, in accordance with 258 CMR Collaborative of NASW and the Boston College and Simmons College Schools of Social Work Authorization Number D 92741.
The Optional Pre-Conference Workshop: Helping Complex Dissociative Individuals Stabilize and Find Solid Ground on September 18-19, 2024 has been approved for 12.5 Continuing Education hours for relicensure, in accordance with 258 CMR Collaborative of NASW and the Boston College and Simmons College Schools of Social Work Authorization Number D 92745.
Social Workers must attend the entire program to receive CE credit.
Licensed Mental Health Counselors
McLean Hospital has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider (ACEP™ No. 6085). Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. McLean Hospital is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs. This offering meets requirements for up to 28.00 NBCC hours (both the workshop and conference).

The National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) states that AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ are acceptable for continuing medical education requirements for recertification. Canadian Accreditation
The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada recognizes conferences and workshops held outside of Canada that are developed by a university, academy, hospital, specialty society or college as accredited group learning activities.
European Accreditation
