Update on Neurology and Psychiatry of Women

Course Overview

This course will educate participants about issues specific to women with neurological and psychiatric diseases. The presentations will focus on sex differences of neurological and psychiatric conditions across all stages of women’s lives - from menarche through pregnancy/postpartum and through menopause. The course is designed to address the continuing education needs of all clinicians including, but not limited to, those in neurology, psychiatry, internal medicine and obstetrics. The presentations will provide high-quality, leading-edge content focusing on evidence- based clinical approach and up-to-date research on women’s health and sex-specific care in both neurology and psychiatry. Interactive learning formats including panel discussions, case-based presentations and Q&A will be utilized to allow learners to engage in the educational process.

• Apply appropriate guidelines for the treatment of neurologic and psychiatric diseases in women.
