Course Overview

Female Sexual Wellness: Identifying Concerns and Treatment Options is a one-day virtual CME course on diagnosing and treating female sexual function concerns. The course will cover disorders of desire, arousal, and orgasm, as well as sexual pain, using topical lectures, and case-based vignettes. Content will be evidence-based and directed towards clinicians and researchers in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Urology, Pain Management, Psychiatry, Psychology, Nursing, and Social Work.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Conduct a thorough history for patients with female sexual function concerns.
  • Recognize causes and interaction of desire, arousal, and orgasmic disorders and explore the range of behavioral, pharmacologic, and device-based treatment options.
  • Identify causes and treatments for female sexual pain (dyspareunia).
