Dr. Rahmati is a board-certified otolaryngologist - head and neck surgeon with 10 years of experience. He is helping to develop a comprehensive salivary gland center with a clinical and research focus on the endoscopic management of salivary gland disorders.  

In addition to salivary gland diseases, he is an expert surgical oncologist with vast experience in managing all aspects of head and neck surgery and oncology, skull base surgery and conditions such as sleep apnea and sinonasal disease. 

Prior to joining the Harvard Medical School faculty, he was part of the faculty at Yale University and Columbia University. He is the recipient of numerous patient care awards and resident teaching awards, including New York Top Doctors Rising Stars, Shain Schley Resident Teaching Award, and the Maxwell Abramson Memorial Award for Excellence in Teaching and Service.
