Marika Russell, MD, FACS
Dr. Russell is Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at Mass Eye and Ear/Harvard Medical School. She obtained her medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, completed her residency training at the University of California, San Francisco, and completed her fellowship training in Thyroid and Parathyroid Surgery at Mass Eye and Ear/Harvard Medical School. She spent her early career as faculty at the University of California, San Francisco where her practice focused on management of advanced thyroid cancer. Dr. Russell has special expertise in thyroid and neck ultrasound and is a national leader in ultrasound education. She serves as the Vice-Chair for the American Head and Neck Society – Endocrine Section and as Associate Board Member for the World Congress on Thyroid Cancer.
