Katelyn W. Sylvester PharmD, BCPS, CACP is a Pharmacy Manager at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. Katelyn is responsible for managing the outpatient anticoagulation management service, inpatient hemostatic and antithrombotic stewardship program, and advance practice pharmacist credentialing. Previously Katelyn was a clinical specialist focusing on emergency medicine, cardiology and anticoagulation management. Katelyn continues to have an active role in clinical research, multi-disciplinary education and guideline development. Katelyn is an Adjunct Associate Professor of Pharmacy at Northeastern University and Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professionals Physician’s Assistant program. She serves on several hospital and department committees and has an active role as a mentor and preceptor with the pharmacy department. Katelyn received her undergraduate degree at Calvin College, Doctor of Pharmacy degree at Northeastern University and postgraduate residency training at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
