Dr. McGee is an Associate Professor of Dermatology at Harvard Medical School and an Associate Physician and the Director of Microbiome Research in the Department of Dermatology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Leveraging various ‘omics tools, her patient-oriented research program aims to elucidate the role of the microbiome and epigenome in a wide range of inflammatory skin diseases and their associated systemic disease burden. In particular, her research is focused on uncovering the gut-skin axis, and how to target the axis for therapeutic and overall health benefits.
