Dr. Christie Fritz is an Attending Physician, both as EMS and emergency medicine faculty at BIDMC.  She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and after completed her emergency medicine residency at BIDMC, also being chosen as Chief Resident during her final year.  She also completed her fellowship in Emergency Medical Services (EMS) at BIDMC.  She is ABEM board certified in EMS and Emergency Medicine.  She is the Medical Director of BIDMC EMS, Medical Director at Cataldo Education Center as well as Associate EMS Fellowship Director at BIDMC and EMS Rotation Director.   She also continues to serve as Assistant Program Director for the emergency medicine residency at BIDMC.  Her research interests include protocol development/standardization in EMS and medical education and has published research and been active on several national committees to optimize prehospital patient care.
