Andrew Ketterer, MD, MA
Andrew Ketterer, MD, MA is an attending physician in emergency medicine (EM). He serves as Associate Residency Program Director where he manages the EM residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center including overseeing didactic education and simulation. He completed his residency and chief residency year at Northwestern University's McGaw Medical Center, followed by a 1-year fellowship in medical education research at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Dr. Ketterer obtained a Master of Arts in Medical Humanities and Bioethics concurrently with his MD at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine. His academic interests lie in medical education and firearms injury reduction. Dr. Ketterer also serves as an executive board member, editor, and author for Foundations of Emergency Medicine, an online educational curriculum targeting resident learners in emergency medicine. This curriculum is currently being used by over 200 emergency medicine training programs around the world.
